The questions patients ask most

What does the initial consult look like?

An initial consult takes the time to go through your comprehensive intake form and delve deeper into your personal history. Oftentimes further testing is required, as well as supplementation and nutritional changes. All of this is outlined in your first visit.

What is the most common condition that patients come in to see you?

There are so many conditions treated: low energy, fatigue, weight gain, loss of libido, bowel dysfunction and digestive disturbances, as well as fertility, prenatal and postnatal care, hormone regulation, diabetes…

How many times do I need to see a naturopath?

There is no set amount of times that you would need to see a Naturopathic Doctor. However, Dr. Aziz makes it her priority to give you the tools that you need, in order to move forward into a place of health quickly. Generally between 4 and 6 visits is sufficient for a solid foundation, however Dr. Aziz has many patients that she has seen for over 5 years.

Do you offer virtual or telehealth visits?

Yes. Dr. Aziz sees patients in person at her Kelowna clinics and through secure telehealth, so you can start care or continue follow-ups from home — whichever fits your schedule.

Are the naturopath services covered under my extended health plan?

Many extended medical plans have great coverage for Naturopathic Medicine, often between $500–$700 covered a year. Check with your insurance provider for your individual plan. Dr. Aziz currently offers direct billing to many insurance companies through her clinics.
